We got started today. First, we had to soak the peat and wait while it turned into a chunk of dirt.

After 15 minutes we had our chunk of dirt

We are growing "tangy lemon balm", "zingy cinnamon and basil", and "cool and fresh spearmint"

We sealed our pots in bags for insulation.
Our Zingy Cinnamon Basil is the first herb to sprout--it just took the weekend to sprout. |
